Port 1250m (east)

Eastern climb from Tarascon

Col de Port is frequently featured in the Tour de France and is also one of the classic climbs cyclists will ride during a full Pyrenees crossing. The gradient from Tarascon is fairly gentle. It makes for a good warm up to tackle other climbs behind such as the very tough Mur de Peguere, or to continue onto an east to west Pyrenees crossing.
